An AI receptionist that answers your business line

An AI receptionist is software that answers your business phone, holds a normal conversation, and records what the caller needs. Genesis Voice Agents builds and trains one for a single small service business, connects it to your existing number, and runs it 24 hours a day. It qualifies the caller, books where you allow booking, escalates by your rules, and texts you every call.

The four jobs it does

  • Answer. Every call, first or second ring, including 3am and Sunday.
  • Qualify. Job type, address, urgency, callback number, and whether they are inside your service area.
  • Book. Offers real slots from your calendar and confirms by text.
  • Report. A written summary to your phone the second the call ends.

What it deliberately refuses to do

It does not invent a price. It does not promise an arrival time you have not authorised. It does not take a card number. When a caller pushes for one of those, it says the owner will confirm and flags the call for you.

Where it fits by trade

  • Emergency trades: it screens for the real emergency and wakes you only for that.
  • Booked trades: it fills next week's diary from calls you were never going to take.
  • Practices: it covers lunch, overflow and the hour after closing.

What happens when you start

  1. You send three fields. The next screen is the confirmation step, not a thank-you page.
  2. On that screen you enter a card for the $1 validation charge, and you read the trial terms before you agree to them.
  3. Within one business hour you get a text and an email from a named person at Genesis Voice Agents with a link to a 15-minute call.
  4. On that call we take your hours, services, service area, and the three questions callers ask most. We do not need your passwords or your phone carrier login.
  5. Your agent answers live within two business days, on your existing business number.

Full timing, wording and cancellation detail is on the free trial page.

Questions people ask before starting

What does an AI receptionist actually do on a call?
It greets the caller with your business name, finds out what they need, collects the address and callback number, books an appointment if you allow booking, and sends you a written summary. It transfers or escalates when the call matches a rule you set.
Can it handle callers who ramble?
It lets them talk, then asks the specific questions it still needs answered. A five-minute story about a boiler still ends with an address, a number and a job type in your text.
Does it replace my front desk?
For a one-person business it is the front desk. For a practice with a receptionist it takes the overflow, the after-hours calls and the lunch hour, so your person is not answering while a patient is standing there.
What will the agent say on day one, and can I change it?
It says what we wrote from your setup call, and you hear a recording of it before it goes live. Wording changes come back to us and are usually applied the same business day.
