- Does the caller know they are talking to software?
- The agent does not pretend to be a person with a name and a lunch break. If a caller asks directly, it says it is the answering service for the business and offers to take the details or reach the owner.
- What happens with a caller who mumbles, or has a heavy accent, or a bad line?
- The agent asks the caller to repeat the address and reads it back. When it cannot get a usable address or number after two attempts, it says the owner will call back and sends you what it did capture, including the caller ID.
- Can it take payment or quote a price?
- It does not take card payments and it does not invent prices. It can state a fixed call-out fee you have given us, and for anything else it says the owner will confirm.
- What if two people call at once?
- Both are answered. There is no single line to be busy on, so a second caller is not sent to voicemail while the first is talking.
- Will it use my existing phone number?
- Yes, through call forwarding from your current line. Your number, your carrier, your listing — unchanged.
- What if I'm on a job and can't talk?
- You never have to answer. Each call arrives as a text summary with the address, the number, and what the caller wanted, which you read between jobs.
- What happens if my hours change, or I'm closed for a holiday?
- Set the temporary hours in the dashboard. The change applies to the next call, and you can post a short notice alongside it, such as 'closed until the 3rd, emergencies still answered'.
- What does it cost after the trial, and how do I stop?
- $249 a month, and one click in the dashboard stops future billing. The $1 card check at signup is the only other charge.
