Empty slots because nobody was reminded

A no-show is a paid hour with nobody in it: a dental chair sitting empty at 2pm, a van parked outside a house where nobody is home. Genesis Voice Agents sends the day-before reminder and the two-hour confirmation for you, handles the replies that move or cancel an appointment, and tells you the moment a slot frees up so it can be filled.

Why slots go empty

The appointment was booked eleven days ago by someone who has since forgotten. Nobody at your business has time to ring twenty people the afternoon before, so nobody does, and two of the twenty do not turn up.

The reminder sequence

  1. Booking confirmed by text the moment it is made, with the date, time and address.
  2. Day-before text at your chosen hour, asking them to reply YES or ask to move it.
  3. Two-hour confirmation on the day, so nobody is surprised by the van.
  4. Reply handling: reschedules get new slots; cancellations release the slot and alert you.

If one no-show a month costs you a $250 appointment, then two recovered slots outweigh the $249 fee. Put your own slot value into that sum — it is an illustration, not a promised outcome.

What happens when you start

  1. You send three fields. The next screen is the confirmation step, not a thank-you page.
  2. On that screen you enter a card for the $1 validation charge, and you read the trial terms before you agree to them.
  3. Within one business hour you get a text and an email from a named person at Genesis Voice Agents with a link to a 15-minute call.
  4. On that call we take your hours, services, service area, and the three questions callers ask most. We do not need your passwords or your phone carrier login.
  5. Your agent answers live within two business days, on your existing business number.

Full timing, wording and cancellation detail is on the free trial page.

Questions people ask before starting

When do the reminders go out?
By default a text the day before at a time you choose, and a short confirmation two hours ahead. Both timings are set during your build and changed by asking us.
What if the customer replies to the reminder?
A reply asking to move the appointment is handled: the agent offers the next open slots and rebooks. A reply cancelling frees the slot and tells you it is free.
Does this work with the calendar I already use?
It works against the booking calendar we connect during setup, so reminders reflect the real appointment, including any change you make yourself that morning.
Can I stop reminders for one type of job?
Yes. Some shops want reminders for fittings but not for quick drop-ins. Tell us which job types are exempt and the rule is applied at build time.
