After-hours calls, answered without ruining your evening

After-hours answering covers the calls that arrive between closing time and the next morning. Genesis Voice Agents answers them on your existing number, applies the emergency rules you set, rings your phone only for the ones that qualify, and holds everything else as a text summary for the morning. Holiday and temporary hours are yours to change in the dashboard.

The 11pm call

A pipe lets go above a kitchen ceiling at 11:20pm. Nobody leaves a voicemail in that situation. The agent answers, takes the address, asks whether the water is still running, and tells them what to shut off while they wait. Then it rings you, because you classed active water as an emergency.

Ninety minutes later someone calls about a slow drain. Same agent, different outcome: details taken, morning callback promised, your phone stays quiet.

Rules you set once

  • Which words or job types count as an emergency for your trade.
  • Whether an emergency rings you, a second number, or both in order.
  • The hour after which non-urgent callers are told "first thing tomorrow".
  • Whether the agent quotes an out-of-hours call-out fee you have given us.

What happens when you start

  1. You send three fields. The next screen is the confirmation step, not a thank-you page.
  2. On that screen you enter a card for the $1 validation charge, and you read the trial terms before you agree to them.
  3. Within one business hour you get a text and an email from a named person at Genesis Voice Agents with a link to a 15-minute call.
  4. On that call we take your hours, services, service area, and the three questions callers ask most. We do not need your passwords or your phone carrier login.
  5. Your agent answers live within two business days, on your existing business number.

Full timing, wording and cancellation detail is on the free trial page.

Questions people ask before starting

Can the agent tell an emergency from something that can wait until morning?
It uses the rules you give us. A plumber usually counts water entering the building as an emergency and a dripping tap as a morning job. Emergencies trigger a call to your phone as well as the text; the rest just wait in your messages.
Will my phone buzz all night?
Only for calls you have classed as emergencies. Everything else arrives silently as a summary you read with coffee.
What does the agent tell someone calling at 1am about a non-urgent job?
It takes their details, says the office opens at your stated time, and tells them they will hear back that morning. It does not promise a technician tonight.
What happens on a public holiday?
Set the holiday hours in the dashboard the day before. The agent uses them, and can read out a short notice such as 'closed Thanksgiving, emergency calls still answered'.
