Phone answering for law firms

Legal intake is won by whoever answers first — a person deciding to get a lawyer rarely rings a second one after someone picks up. Genesis Voice Agents answers your intake line at any hour, screens the matter type against what your firm takes, captures the detail your conflict check needs, and books the consultation. It gives no legal advice.

Intake, captured consistently

  • Matter type, and whether the firm takes it.
  • Jurisdiction and where the matter arose.
  • Opposing party names for the conflict check.
  • Any deadline or court date the caller mentions.
  • Whether they are already represented.

The line the agent will not cross

"Do I have a case?" gets one answer: that is a question for the lawyer, and here is the next available consultation. The agent does not speculate, estimate outcomes, or discuss fees beyond the fixed consultation figures you give us.

What happens when you start

  1. You send three fields. The next screen is the confirmation step, not a thank-you page.
  2. On that screen you enter a card for the $1 validation charge, and you read the trial terms before you agree to them.
  3. Within one business hour you get a text and an email from a named person at Genesis Voice Agents with a link to a 15-minute call.
  4. On that call we take your hours, services, service area, and the three questions callers ask most. We do not need your passwords or your phone carrier login.
  5. Your agent answers live within two business days, on your existing business number.

Full timing, wording and cancellation detail is on the free trial page.

Questions people ask before starting

Will it give legal advice?
Never. It states matter types you handle, captures the enquiry, and books a consultation. Any question about the merits of a case is answered with a consultation booking.
Can it run a conflict check?
It captures opposing party names so your intake team can run the check before the consultation, which is where that check belongs.
How do you handle confidentiality?
Each firm's call data sits in an isolated account, and the greeting can include any confidentiality wording your jurisdiction requires.
Can it turn away matter types we do not take?
Yes. Give us the list and the agent declines politely, which saves your intake staff the calls that were never going to convert.
